Terms and Conditions
This is the website of PLEON. It exists to explain what we do and to let you reach us. Nothing is sold here, and you do not need an account to read any of it. These terms set out the few rules that apply while you are using the site, in plain language.
In short
- This is an information website. It is not a shop, it takes no payments, and it asks you to register for nothing.
- The words, photographs and video here are ours, and the work described in the case studies is our own.
- Nothing on this site is an offer or a contract. Any work we do together is agreed separately, in writing.
Who we are
This site is published and operated by PLEON, of 6 Zalokosta Street, 10671, Athens, Greece. Wherever these terms say “we”, “us” or “our”, that is who is meant. “You” means anyone reading or otherwise using the site.
What this website is for
The site describes the services we offer to organisations and to private clients, and shows examples of work we have done. The case studies are there to illustrate the kind of thing we arrange; each one was shaped around a particular client, and none of them is a package that can be bought as it stands. Prices are not published here, because there is no standard price for this kind of work.
So nothing on this site constitutes an offer capable of acceptance, and reading it creates no agreement between us. If we do work together, the terms of that work are set out in a separate written agreement, and that agreement, not this page, governs it.
Using the site
You are welcome to read the site, to print pages for your own use, and to share links to it. By using it you agree to these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Please do not: use the site for anything unlawful; try to gain access to parts of it that are not public; interfere with how it works or attempt to overload it; collect content from it automatically or at scale; or present any of it as your own work. We may restrict access if the site is being misused.
What belongs to whom
The text, photography, video, design and layout of this site belong to us or are used by us with permission, and they are protected by copyright. PLEON and ZELOS are our names and marks. You may quote a short passage with a credit and a link, as anyone would. Anything beyond that needs our permission first: reproducing pages, reusing our photography or video, or using our names as part of your own offering. Ask us, and we will usually say yes.
If you give us your details
There is a sign-up form on the site that asks for your name and email address. If you use it, we will use those details only to send you the occasional note it invites you to receive, and for nothing else. We will not sell them, and we will not pass them to anyone else for their own purposes. You can ask us to stop at any time by writing to the address at the foot of this page, and we will remove you.
Please give us details that are accurate and your own to give. If you write to us by email or telephone instead, we use what you send only to answer you.
Cookies and measurement
The site stores nothing on your device until you have answered the cookie notice, and the only cookies it then sets are the ones that remember your answer. If we ever introduce a measurement tool, meaning something that counts which pages people find useful, it will run only with your permission, and it will be described here before it does. Our Cookie Policy lists every cookie the site sets and explains how to change your answer at any time.
Links to other sites
Some pages link outwards: to our own profiles on social networks, and occasionally to a partner or a venue. Those sites are not ours and we do not control them. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the other side of it, and once you follow one you are subject to that site’s terms and its handling of your information, not ours.
Accuracy, and the site being there
We take care to keep the site accurate and current, but it describes a business that changes, and we cannot promise that every detail is complete or up to date at the moment you read it. We may change, add to or remove any part of it without notice.
Nor can we promise that the site will always be available. It may be unavailable while it is being maintained, or because something beyond our control has gone wrong.
Our responsibility
The site is provided as it is, for information. We are not liable for any loss arising from a decision taken on the strength of something read here rather than agreed with us directly, nor for the site being temporarily unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where the law does not permit that, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by Greek law, and the courts of Athens have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from the use of this site. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of your own country’s mandatory consumer law.
Changes to these terms
We may revise this page if the site starts doing something new, or if the law changes. The version here is always the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.
